With so many portable vaporizers available, it is getting harder to find the right one that both serve your needs, and is also easy to carry around discreetly. From the looks of it, the Iolite vaporizer is one that fits both needs, prompting us to take a closer look at it, to figure out why it is so popular.

At first glance, the Iolite vaporizer looks like an older generation mobile phone, or a walkie talkie, it can easily fit in the user’s palms and pockets, and is very light. Unlike most of the other portable vaporizers that are out there, the Iolite vaporizer doesn’t use a battery, which is very refreshing, because you don’t have to worry about charging it all the time, or running out of battery if you forget your charger. Instead, it uses butane, which is the same gas that is used in lighters, and it gives you up to two hours of continuous use, before having to refill it again. The antenna has a removable cap, and turns into the mouthpiece, and the loading chamber is underneath the mouthpiece.

If you like the Iolite vape you’ll love the pax 2 vape.

The Iolite vaporizer comes with a carrying case, a 7 Dot herb chamber screen, an instruction manual, a replacement heater mesh screen, an extendable mouth piece, a moisture condenser, an Iolite maintenance tool, and an extra wide cleaning device.

Ease of Use

The Iolite vaporizer is a simple device to use, the first thing you have to do is to fill it with butane, once it has been filled up, you then remove the mouthpiece, to get access to the herb chamber, and load it up. After loading it up, you can turn on the device by clicking the on switch on the side of it. Once it has been turned on, it takes about 2-5 minutes for it to get to the appropriate temperature, and once it does, an orange light will come on, indicating that it is ready to use.

Once you start to draw from the Iolite vaporizer, you will be pleasantly surprised by the thick vapor that it produces, another pleasant surprise was the fact that I didn’t taste the butane, which I though I would. Apparently, the makers put in a bi-metal heating chamber, which melts the butane before you begin to vape.

Pros

* It doesn’t require any batteries, which allows you to use it anytime you want, without having to wait for it to charge first.

* It has a 2 year warranty.

* It is very discreet.

* It is very easy to clean.

* It produces good vapor.

Cons

* It is hard to know how much butane you have left, because it doesn’t have an indicator.

* The surface gets hot when used continuously.

* Constantly refilling it with butane can get annoying.

Verdict

Some people stay away from butane filled vaporizers because they are worried about the health risks associated with the gas, but there is no need with the Iolite vaporizer, because the manufacturers went to great lengths to ensure it was safe. The fact that I didn’t have to sit around and wait for batteries to charge was a welcome change, but it was the ease of use, and the quality of the vapor that convinced me that this is a vaporizer that is definitely worth owning.
